You know something is up when Mr. Cayden poses for pictures and does not put his head down or cover his face....well...that something is us FINALLY making his crib into a toddler bed for him. Yes, I know, he is almost 3 and this is later than most....but, we kind of went with the notion of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Our monkey never even attempted to climb out of his crib. Can he? Yes, he climbs in and out of his brother's all of the time, he has just chosen not to get out of his bed. He just loves his crib and rarely gives us a hard time about going down for naps or going to bed....... his safe-haven, I suppose. He was so excited about the change...his little heart was racing a mile a minute and he was dancing all around his room. When we finally got to reading books, he didn't ask for another and another like he usually does....He never even tried to get out and is now sleeping peacefully - my first baby is turning into a little boy right before my eyes and it is all happening/has happened so fast.
